I conduct research on the demonstration-practice procedure, which I developed to teach early math skills. The demonstration-practice procedure has two types of trials (illustrated below). First, the interventionist demonstrates the skill. Then, the child is given multiple opportunities to practice the skill independently, with prompting provided as needed.
